The Diversity of the Human Experience
I think that the diversity of the human experience is basically the amazing fact that each of us is living our own lives. This idea has actually popped into my head a couple of times and I think that being aware of this idea helps you to understand the nature of each human being. What the diversity of the human experience means is that every one lives a life and you only see and experience life through this single mind in this single body that was given to you and I think that we take for granted when we walk by another person who has lived and experienced a totally different dimension of this world than you.
The first assignment that I chose for this was the response that we had to for the documentary film that we watched called "Cave of Forgotten Dreams". The film was centered around some of the early cave paintings that were made by our Paleolithic relatives. This assignment made me think that the world that I am experiencing I completely different the one that the early generations of humans have experienced and made me wonder how the future generations will experience in their modern world. The other assignment that I chose was the last one that I did for this fring. I couldn't upload the presentation, so I uploaded the pictures that I used for it. I think that these presentation that we did in class showed u exactly the diversity of what each human is living. I might be an artist, but what I found out in these presentations is that the person next to me might be an amazing singer or dancer and have the same passion that I do for art. Everyone's experience and goals are different but that's what makes us so diverse.
